Q. What is microdermabrasion?
A. Microdermabrasion is a simple and effective form of exfoliation or skin resurfacing. It is a
non-invasive treatment designed to improve the overall texture, tone, and clarity of the skin while
restoring the skin's elasticity.
Q. How does microdermabrasion work?
A. This type of deep exfoliation is performed by gently sandblasting the skin with a high pressure
flow of ultra fine crystals designed to remove the outer most layers of the epidermis followed
with a vacuum suction action that removes the crystals. This procedure stimulates the lower
layers of the skin that renew the anti-aging mechanisms of the skin.
Q. How many treatments are needed?
A. I do not recommend packages for any treatment such as microdermabrasion and/or skin
resurfacing/needling; everyone's skin is different and improvement rates are different. I
recommend the treatments on an “as needed” basis.
With a combination of chemical peels, microdermabrasions , facials and/or body skin needling,
